SAOGA 37th Annual Golf Tournament 07th – 10th November 2019

General Information

The 37th Annual SAOGA Golf Tournament will commence Thursday 7th November and run until Sunday 10th November 2019 at Clare Golf and Country Club. The following is an outline of expected activities and functions.

Golf:

Similar format as every year with a Thursday Stroke comp, Friday Ambrose, Saturday and Sunday Stableford comp. Thursday / Friday start time at 1:00 pm, Saturday / Sunday morning start at 8:30 am

 Functions:

Details are still being finalised, but there will be a Friday evening casual function, Saturday and Sunday lunches and a formal Saturday evening dinner. Functions will be held in and around the Clare Country Club and Golf Course facilities / local area.

Fees Schedule:

Entry fees cover green fees for golf, basic drinks and catering as part of the functions noted above. The 2019 fee structure is set at $200 per golfer and $325 for a couple (including Calloway event if participating).

Accommodation:

In a change from previous events, there is a wider range of accommodation options available from either the Clare Country Club or local area. SAOGA have negotiated a discounted rate for rooms at Clare Country Club, but note the discounted option rate closes soon. It is up to individuals to arrange their own accommodation requirements. SAOGA take no responsibility for accommodation booking or payments.

The SAOGA committee endeavours to put on a fantastic event every year and we hope that a change in venue – as voted for by the membership – will be well supported.
